When Dropping Off Your Pet at the Hotel

When checking in your pet, try not to make your pet feel like he's being left behind, accompanied with a lot of tears and guilt, because your dog can sense your feelings and he will think there is something wrong. He will become frightened and fearful, thinking you are abandoning him, and will have a difficult adjustment period for the first day or two.

The proper thing to do is to reassure your pet that everything is all right, with a pat on the head, and tell him/her that you will be back soon. When you are preparing for your trip (packing your bags and the car), tell your pet that he is "ready to go to camp." Make the stay an upbeat and positive experience.

Hours for Pickup/Delivery

Monday through Friday
8:00 - 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.

Saturday
8:00 - 10:00 a.m.

Sunday
4:00 - 5:00 p.m.

You may also visit our hotel during these hours. Tours are suspended during peak boarding times because of the demands on staff in caring for the pets during these busy days.

We may reserve the right to be closed or have different drop-off and pickup hours during holidays.

For security, the gates are locked during non-business hours.

Requests for special check-in or -out times will only be honored in cases of emergencies only. There may be an additional fee for this service.

Why is it important to maintain our hours of pickup and delivery?

During non-business hours our guests are resting and having quiet time. Adding or removing a guest causes a lot of excitement. Our rest periods are therefore a crucial part of maintaining a stress-free atmosphere. Since we are an owner-and family-operated 7-days-a-week, 365-days-a-year business, it also allows time for our employees to relax as well. In order for us to maintain a clean, healthy and happy environment for our quests we must have time to devote to certain tasks, such as cleaning, feeding, grooming, and getting our guests out for exercise or some socializing with our staff or with other guests, if permitted.

This is done before and after our normal business hours. So, not showing up during business hours prevents us from getting these things done, and our guests are our #1 priority. If you drop off or pick up during non-business hours without permission from staff, there will be a $50 charge added to your bill.

Early Return Policy

We have experienced growing difficulty with customers returning "earlier than planned" to pick up their pets. We are more than happy to have you return home to retrieve your pet early and we are glad that you are able to do so, however, you MUST let us know at least two days in advance of your change in plans.

Early returns create a problem for us when you do not let us know in advance that you are going to return earlier then what you had scheduled at your check-in time. If a bath or grooming is scheduled, we plan to perform those services on the day of departure, so you will need to let us know the change of departure time or date so we may change the grooming date (or time) and have your pet's grooming (bath) done earlier.

Also, when we are full, we turn away additional business in order to provide space for your pet for that entire time you have reserved. This means, therefore, that if you return early, and we have turned other customers away (because we are full and expect you to return on a certain date), we are unable to provide services to other clients as we have for you. This forces us to have vacant runs and causes us to lose revenue. Please try to help us, and indirectly help you, by just giving us a call in advance if you are going to return early. Unfortunately, if we do not get at least two (2) days' notice, we are unable to reschedule your reserved space and therefore you will be charged for the complete number of booked days.
